An event organised by the MASTER 2 MS ISSD to The University Toulouse III - Paul Sabatier in collaboration with all its institutional partners, bringing together academics, researchers, professionals from the security sector, doctors, managers...

This conference is an opportunity to draw the attention of all those in charge of the security of goods and people in order to better understand its evolution.

As societies become more urbanised and globalised and increasingly interlinked, the consequences of natural and man-made hazards and disasters become more important. Terrorist acts over the past decade have significantly changed perceptions and priorities with regard to global threats and risks. Coordination strategies are being put in place to enhance resilience capacities at both international and national levels to respond most favourably to these events. These mechanisms have an impact at the level of individual citizens, who must therefore adapt to new security measures. Security management aims to regulate these measures to be adopted at the level of individual and collective behaviour as well as organisational behaviour.

This conference therefore places the emphasis on this concept of security, which has become a global necessity. Whether it is the actors of the security world or the simple citizen, security takes a fundamental place where conjuncture and citizen consideration are the new drivers of the modern world. It is therefore from a multidisciplinary perspective (cybersecurity, risks and disasters, legal and geostrategic aspects, etc.) that this conference will be organised, addressing evolving questions on operational implementation and where "the human being" is at the heart of the security system.
